Sunday, July 05, 2009 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (GMT)
Borrowed Planet is a new group formed by parents in Leeds who are taking action on climate change.
We are launching with a free screening of the film The Age of Stupid - which asks the question - why didn't we do more to stop climate change when we had the chance?
We believe we have the chance to do something about climate change now. By the time our children are our age, it might be too late. That's why we want to do something about it now.
The film will be shown at 2pm on Sunday 5th July at All Hallows Church in Hyde Park, Leeds.
It's free of charge - and of course there'll be activities for younger children whilst the film's showing too.
Borrowed Planet is a new group set up by parents in Leeds to take action on climate change.
We're new - and we have no set agenda yet. But we're inspired by the fact that by the time our children are our age, it might be too late to take steps to tackle climate change. So we want to do something about it now.
